He has served as supervising auditor for wholesale and commercial clients with annual revenues from $12 million to $160 million, with accounting expertise spanning nonprofits, wholesale, manufacturing, financial institutions, construction, and real estate development.

Peter co-founded the firm in 1999 and brings 36 years of diversified accounting, information systems, and tax experience. He previously served as managing partner of a diversified financial company with a 40% compound growth rate, and spent nine years as division controller of a Fortune 500 subsidiary with $400 million in annual sales.

His expertise covers operations, information systems, compliance, internal controls, lease financing, and tax planning, including seven years managing the finances of construction, manufacturing, and real estate portfolio companies.

Nathan joined the firm as partner in 2001 and serves as Director of Tax Services, with 31 years in public accounting. He was previously Tax Manager in the Lynchburg office of a large regional CPA firm, where he was one of only three Personal Financial Specialists.

His tax expertise centers on closely held businesses, partnerships, individuals, and estate tax planning.

Amy became partner in 2009 and serves as the firm’s Assurance Partner, with 30 years of public and private accounting experience including time at a Big 4 firm.

Her expertise covers employee benefit plans, nonprofits, construction, manufacturing, financial institutions, and commercial clients.

Jordan joined the firm as partner through its 2015 merger with Lewis Marsh & Associates, bringing 17 years of public accounting experience, including more than a decade managing a local family-run firm.

Her expertise centers on bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes.

Christy was named partner in 2025, with 25 years of public accounting experience. Her tax expertise covers corporations, partnerships, and individuals, along with financial statement compilations and reviews.

Outside the office, Christy volunteers with God’s Pit Crew in Danville, VA, and enjoys life on the family farm: camping, fishing, running, church service, and time with family.

Dana was named partner in 2025, with 25 years of public accounting experience. She was previously a Senior Manager at a large regional public accounting firm in Washington, D.C., specializing in nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and labor unions.

Her expertise covers single audits (federal grants), employee benefit plans, nonprofits, homeowners associations, corporations, and partnerships.
